Faith Celebrates 25th Anniversary

Faith Moravian Church of the Nation’s Capital will celebrate 25 years in 2010. As we come of age we are thankful to God for his Grace and Mercy. We continue to pray that he will continue to bless and keep us, guiding our paths and leading us to spreading his word throughout the community and leading lives to Him.

There will be several events planned throughout the year as we celebrate. so stay tuned.

Faith welcomes you to celebrate the Reason for the Season with us. Despite the challenges of the closing year, we have so much to be thankful for. Come on out and join us as we give thanks to God for his myriad blessings, chief of which is His Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Thursday, December 24th – Christmas Eve Love Feast Service – 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, December 27th – Christmas Sunday/Festival of the Nine Lessons 11:00 am
Thursday, December 31st – New Year’s Eve Service – 10:30 pm
Sunday, January 3rd – New Year’s Sunday - Service – 11:00 am

Welcome to Faith! Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you for visiting our web site today. As you navigate through our site it is our prayer that you will learn more about our church here in the Nations Capital as well as the Moravian Church worldwide. God continues to stretch and grows us in areas that move us out of our comfort zones. When this happens we realize that we must rely totally on the Lord in order to accomplish His plans and purposes for us as individuals and as a church.

Ministry doesn’t take place in a vacuum. God places us in community and draws others to help so that we can do the work of the ministry in partnership. When we are in relationship with fellow believers with a common purpose we can do so much more to advance God’s kingdom.
