Chancel Choir ¡¡ |
The Chancel Choir of Faith Moravian Church of the Nation¡¯s Capital
has been the main music provider for the church, since its charter
in May 1985.
With an active membership of 15, and under the leadership of the
choir director Carlota McCormack, the choir has provided a variety
of Anthems and Gospel songs, as well as songs from the Caribbean
and Central America, which reflects the rich diverse heritage of
the Faith congregation.
In addition to providing music for our Sunday worship and special
services, the choir has performed for special events, and has over
the last 14 years successfully prepared for and performed at its
Annual Christmas Carol Service.
Organist Carlos Hunter provides the rich accompaniment for the
choir which rehearses on Fridays at 7:30pm in the church¡¯s
sanctuary.
