"Faith in Action. Hope on Every Table"
At Faith Moravian Church of the Nation’s Capital, we believe that access to food is essential to the well-being of individuals and families. Our Community Food Pantry is an expression of our commitment to serving our neighbors with compassion, generosity, and love.
Located in Washington, DC, we seek to support individuals and families in the Riggs Park neighborhood and surrounding communities by sharing available groceries and essential food items. Through the generosity of donors, dedicated volunteers, and community partners, we strive to help meet practical needs and remind our neighbors that they are not alone.
Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and care. Whether you are seeking assistance, looking for ways to volunteer, or interested in donating, we welcome you to be part of this mission.
Together, we can help nourish our community, one household at a time.
Use a short form asking for name, contact details, areas of interest, availability, and relevant experience. Send submissions to the designated coordinator.
Display current priority items, drop-off instructions, and a contact option. Avoid promising that all items can be accepted at all times.
Provide a confidential inquiry form that collects only the information needed to respond. Explain that submitting the form does not guarantee assistance, and do not collect sensitive personal details through an unsecured form.
If you or your family could use help with groceries, we invite you to reach out. Contact us to inquire about pantry availability, distribution dates, and current arrangements.
Assistance is subject to available supplies and confirmed distribution arrangements.
Give a little of your time and make a meaningful difference. Help organize groceries, prepare food bags, welcome neighbors, or support distribution days.
Your generosity helps keep pantry shelves stocked. Donate requested food items, organize a collection, or explore a partnership to help us respond to local needs.
