Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir of Faith Moravian Church of the Nation’s Capital is the heart of our traditional worship music since its charter in May 1985. . With warm harmonies and sacred anthems, this choir leads the congregation in reverent, spirit-filled song each Sunday. Whether singing timeless hymns or classical choral works, our mission is to create space for worship through beauty and excellence.

Under the leadership of the Choir Director Carlota McCormack, the choir sings a variety of music that reflects the richly diverse heritage of our congregation, traditional Moravian Anthems, Gospel music, and songs from the Caribbean and Central America.
